Norton Athletic FC is inviting the whole community to join us at The Highfield for a very special afternoon as we celebrate the opening of our brand-new clubhouse and the beginning of a new era for The Millers.
Whether you’re already involved with Norton Athletic, live locally or are simply looking for an affordable day out with the children, everyone is welcome.
And this isn’t just a football match.
We’re creating a Family Fun Day at The Highfield, with entertainment for the children throughout the afternoon alongside our first-ever league fixture in the Anglian Combination Premier Division.
Our brand-new Millers Kids Zone will be open from 12:30pm, giving children their own dedicated area next to the new clubhouse.
We’ll have:
🏰 Bouncy Castle – £1 per child, payable on the day
🎨 FREE Face Painting
✂️ Kids Craft Table
🎯 Garden Games Zone
🎈 Balloon Modeller
🫧 Giant Bubbles & Bubble Station
And we’ve planned activities throughout the matchday so the fun doesn’t stop when the football starts.
Please note: The bouncy castle costs £1 per child and is payable on the day. This is separate from match admission and does not need to be booked or purchased online.
At half-time, we’ll invite children to take part in our:
⚽ Half-Time Penalty Shootout Challenge
Throughout the match, our young supporters will also be able to vote for their:
🏆 Kids Player of the Match
We’ll also have a:
🎟️ Family Raffle
with the draw taking place at full-time.
Then, once the football finishes, the first 30 minutes of the post-match entertainment belongs to the kids with our:
🕺 Millers Kids Disco
before the DJ continues the music and entertainment afterwards.
Saturday 29th August will also mark the official opening of our brand-new clubhouse at The Highfield.
Doors open from 12:30pm, giving everyone the opportunity to come inside, see the new facilities and enjoy the new home we’re creating for Norton Athletic FC.
There’ll be plenty for adults to enjoy too:

The centrepiece of the afternoon will be another major milestone in the club’s history.
Norton Athletic FC v Norwich CEYMS FC
This will be our first-ever league fixture in the Anglian Combination Premier Division following promotion last season.

We’d love to see a big crowd at The Highfield to get behind The Millers as we begin our first Premier Division campaign.
We’ve deliberately made the day affordable so families from across the local community can come and experience The Highfield.
Adult admission: £3
Under 16s: FREE
All children under 16 receive FREE admission to The Highfield and do not require a match ticket. The bouncy castle is an optional activity charged separately at £1 per child, payable on the day.
Simply purchase the number of adult tickets you require.
You can then bring as many children under 16 with you as you wish completely FREE of charge.
There is no need to order or reserve tickets for children under 16.
