CLUBHOUSE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. PURPOSE

The Norton Athletic FC Clubhouse exists to support:

Club members
Supporters
Sponsors
Community groups
Visitors

The Clubhouse forms a key part of the Club’s long-term sustainability strategy and helps generate income to support football, facilities and community activities.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Clubhouse.

2. CLUBHOUSE OBJECTIVES

The Clubhouse aims to:

Provide a welcoming social environment.
Support matchday activities.
Host community events.
Generate income for the Club.
Support sponsors and supporters.
Promote football and community engagement.

3. OPENING HOURS

Opening hours shall be determined by the Club.

Hours may vary depending upon:

Matchdays
Events
Functions
Seasonal requirements

The Club reserves the right to amend opening hours without notice.

4. ADMISSION

The Clubhouse is open to:

Members
Supporters
Sponsors
Visiting teams
Event attendees
Invited guests

The Club reserves the right to refuse admission where appropriate.

5. STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR

All users shall:

Behave respectfully.
Treat others courteously.
Respect volunteers and staff.
Respect Club property.
Follow instructions from Club officials.

The Clubhouse is intended to be a welcoming and family-friendly environment.

6. ZERO TOLERANCE

The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

Violence
Threatening behaviour
Harassment
Bullying
Discrimination
Abuse towards staff or volunteers
Damage to property

Individuals may be asked to leave immediately.

7. ALCOHOL SALES

Where alcohol is sold:

Challenge 25 procedures may apply.
Valid identification may be requested.
Alcohol shall only be served in accordance with licensing requirements.

The Club reserves the right to refuse service.

8. INTOXICATION

The Club may refuse entry or service to individuals who appear:

Intoxicated
Aggressive
Disruptive

The safety and enjoyment of all visitors remains the priority.

9. UNDER 18s

Children and young people are welcome when accompanied and supervised appropriately.

All safeguarding policies remain applicable within the Clubhouse.

10. FOOD AND DRINK

Food and drink purchased on the premises should not be removed unless authorised.

Outside alcohol may not be consumed on Club premises without permission.

11. CLUBHOUSE HIRE

The Clubhouse may be hired for:

Community events
Business meetings
Private functions
Fundraising events
Sports presentations

All bookings are subject to availability and approval.

12. BOOKINGS

Bookings may require:

Deposit payment
Booking agreement
Acceptance of these Terms

The Club reserves the right to decline bookings.

13. CANCELLATIONS

The Club may retain deposits where bookings are cancelled within a specified notice period.

Specific cancellation terms may apply to individual bookings.

14. DAMAGE

Individuals or organisations hiring the Clubhouse may be held responsible for damage caused during their booking.

The Club reserves the right to recover reasonable repair costs.

15. SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING

Sponsors may be recognised within the Clubhouse through:

Advertising boards
Sponsor displays
Digital screens
Event materials

The Club reserves the right to determine display locations.

16. DOGS

Dogs may be permitted at the discretion of the Club.

Owners shall ensure dogs:

Remain under control.
Do not disturb others.
Are cleaned up after.

The Club reserves the right to restrict access where necessary.

17. PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography may take place within the Clubhouse.

Images may be used for:

Website content
Social media
Club promotion

Individuals should notify the Club if they do not wish to appear in promotional material.

18. HEALTH & SAFETY

All visitors shall:

Follow safety instructions.
Observe emergency procedures.
Report hazards immediately.

The Club reserves the right to close areas where safety concerns exist.

19. CCTV

CCTV may be operated for:

Crime prevention
Security
Safety

Recordings shall be handled in accordance with the Club’s Privacy Policy.

20. CLUBHOUSE VISION

The Clubhouse is intended to become the social heart of Norton Athletic FC.

It will support:

Football
Community activities
Fundraising
Sponsorship
Events
Long-term Club sustainability

All users are encouraged to help create a positive environment.

21. REVIEW

These Terms shall be reviewed annually.
